This policy explains how Wimia handles information when you use bead-pattern creation, photos, AI generation, analytics, attribution, and in-app purchases.
1. Scope and contact
This policy applies to the Wimia iOS app. For privacy or data-handling questions, email pablogutierrez84@outlook.com.
2. Information Wimia handles
- Creations and profile: grid colors, titles, descriptions, material records, drafts, designs, comments, likes, follows, blocks, report selections, nickname, and avatar.
- Photos and camera content: project covers and avatars that you actively select or capture, together with AI-generated results.
- Voice-to-text audio: audio is used only while you choose to dictate into the description field, and is not saved by Wimia.
- Pearls and purchases: Pearl balance and ledger, product identifier, transaction identifier, and purchase state. Apple processes payment details; Wimia does not receive complete payment-card information.
- App, device, and session information: app version, device identifier, service-session token or user identifier, request status, and information needed for startup configuration and the service session.
- Analytics and attribution information: the Adjust SDK handles device and app information, an Adjust identifier, campaign attribution, and app events. It may also handle the advertising identifier when system permission is granted.
- Network information: services receive the IP address, request time, and connection information needed when the app contacts configuration, session, AI, analytics, or Apple services.
3. Sources and purposes
Information comes from your input and actions, the system photo picker, camera, Apple purchase callbacks, the device and app environment, and Adjust. Wimia uses it to save and display creations, maintain inventory and interaction state, establish a service session, retrieve operating configuration, perform requested AI generation, deliver Pearls, prevent duplicate purchase grants, measure attribution, and troubleshoot problems.
4. Creation and interaction data
Wimia processes drafts, designs, profile details, material inventory, the Pearl ledger, and interaction records to provide creation, design display, comments, likes, follows, Remakes, blocks, and reports.
When you choose voice-to-text for a design description, Wimia uses iOS speech recognition to fill the description field. Wimia does not save an audio recording; you can edit or remove the resulting text before saving or publishing. Depending on your device, language, and system availability, Apple may process audio through its speech-recognition services under Apple's applicable terms and privacy policy.
5. AI image processing
Only after you choose “Generate Pattern with AI” does Wimia compress the selected image and send it with your entered instructions to OpenRouter. OpenRouter acts as an AI-routing service and sends the request to a model provider selected for that request to generate an image; the app currently prefers Google Gemini image models provided through OpenRouter. The result is then downloaded to your device and converted into an editable grid. Choosing “Use Original Photo” does not send the image to an AI service as part of that action.
OpenRouter and the model provider process submitted information under their own terms and privacy rules. Retention, logging, model-training practices, and processing locations depend on the actual service, account settings, and routing. Wimia does not promise immediate deletion, no logging, or no model training. Do not submit sensitive images, confidential personal information, or content you have no right to process.
6. Service providers and transfers
- Apple: for in-app purchases, the system photo picker, system permissions, and iOS speech recognition.
- Adjust: for mobile analytics, advertising attribution, and event measurement.
- OpenRouter and its model providers: to receive the selected image and instructions when you actively start AI generation and generate an image; the app currently prefers Google Gemini image models provided through OpenRouter.
- App-service infrastructure: for startup configuration, service sessions, and necessary network operation.
The app has no user-visible third-party ad placements. In addition to transfers needed for these functions, Wimia may disclose necessary information where applicable law requires it.
7. Permissions and choices
- Photos: the system photo picker provides only the items you select.
- Camera: requested only after you choose to capture an avatar or project image; permission can be withdrawn in iOS Settings.
- Microphone and speech recognition: requested only when you tap the microphone to dictate a design description, and can be revoked in iOS Settings.
- Tracking: you can deny the App Tracking Transparency request and change your choice in iOS Settings.
- AI: you can draw directly or use an original photo cover without starting AI processing.
8. Retention and deletion
Relevant records remain until you remove the corresponding content or use Profile → Delete Account → Delete → Delete Permanently. That function clears the Pearl balance and ledger, user drafts and designs, interactions, nickname, and avatar, restores material inventory to its initial state, and ends the current session.
The deletion scope does not include gallery content supplied with the app, the one-time Pearl grant flag, purchase transaction-deduplication records, or previously created project covers and AI images. Information already transferred to external services is handled under those services' rules. Contact the support email with deletion questions.
9. Security
Wimia uses measures including access controls and protected network transport. No information processing or internet transmission can be guaranteed completely secure. Avoid including unnecessary sensitive information in titles, comments, AI instructions, or images.
10. Children and minors
Wimia is not designed specifically for children and does not implement age verification. Minors should use it with a parent or guardian's permission and guidance, especially when submitting images or using in-app purchases.
11. Your choices and rights
You can edit your nickname and avatar, remove likes or follows, unblock profiles, and use the deletion function to clear the data described above. Wimia does not provide automated data export. Email us with access, correction, deletion, or other applicable-rights requests. Available rights depend on the law where you live.
12. Policy updates
If the product or its data handling changes, this policy will be updated and the latest date will be shown on this page.
